OUR STANDARDS
Editorial Standards
Who pays for this, what that means, and what we won’t do.
Ownership
Trade Show Exhibit News is published by Exhibit Experience, a trade show exhibit house that rents and builds exhibits and operates installation and dismantle crews. Related companies in the same group provide large-format graphics, LED display rental, and exhibit rental in several US markets.
This is a commercial relationship and it is disclosed on every page of this site.
How we handle it
We do not accept payment for coverage. No sponsored posts, no advertorial presented as reporting, no pay-to-play rankings or awards.
We do not run a “best companies” list that includes our own companies. Where we write about how to choose a vendor, we write it as criteria you can apply to anyone — including us.
We link to our own companies rarely, and we say so when we do. Where an article contains such a link, a disclosure appears inline, next to the link, not in a footnote.
We separate the publication from the product. This site operates a service called Get Bids, which sends a single project brief to companies in our group. It is clearly labeled as ours, it appears in its own module, and it never appears inside an article as though it were a recommendation.
Sourcing
We cite sources for numbers. Every dollar figure, rate, deadline or count we publish is attributed to a named source and linked wherever a link exists. If we can’t source it, we don’t publish it.
We prefer primary documents: exhibitor service manuals, union contracts, venue facility guides, published rate schedules, and government filings. Where we rely on a secondary report, we say so.
We mark what we couldn’t verify. If a figure is an estimate, an older number, or a single organization’s claim, it’s labeled that way.
Show dates are verified against the organizer. Every show page shows the date it was last checked. Aggregator directories are not treated as authoritative.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we correct the article and add a dated note at the foot explaining what changed. We don’t quietly edit and we don’t delete.
To request a correction, write to editor@tradeshowexhibitnews.com with the article and what’s wrong. If you can point to a document, better.
Confidential material
We’re interested in service manuals, rate sheets, invoices and contracts. Real numbers are the point of this publication and most of them live in documents that never get published.
If you send us something, tell us how you want it handled. We can report a figure without identifying its source or the company it came from.

Artificial intelligence
We use AI tools for research assistance and drafting. Every published article is reviewed by a person, and every factual claim is checked against a source by a person. We don’t publish generated text that hasn’t been verified.
